Ecommerce engineering that survives your busiest day

Migrations that don't lose products. Themes that load in under a second. Integrations that fail loudly instead of quietly. This is the unglamorous half of ecommerce, done properly.

Who this is for

You'll recognise at least two of these

  • You're on WooCommerce, Magento or something bespoke, and every change needs a developer
  • Your store loads slowly on mobile and nobody can tell you exactly why
  • Traffic is fine, conversion isn't, and the last agency's answer was a new homepage
  • The developer who built your theme is gone and nobody wants to touch it
  • Your ERP, your shipping provider and your store each hold a different version of the truth
  • You're paying for six apps that overlap and slow the site down

What we do

Six things, done deeply

We'd rather be genuinely good at a short list than adequate at everything. If you need something outside this, we'll tell you and point you at someone who does it properly.

01

Platform migration

WooCommerce, Magento, bespoke PHP, or an older Shopify build — moved to Shopify with the catalogue reconciled product-by-product and the URL structure preserved. We rebuild the taxonomy, not just the rows, and we prove the counts match before anyone calls it live.

02

Conversion rate optimisation

We start with your actual session data and checkout funnel, not a best-practices checklist. Then we fix the things that are measurably costing you orders — usually product page structure, unclear shipping thresholds, search that returns nothing, and out-of-stock handling.

03

Theme development & performance

Custom sections, new templates, or a full rebuild of a theme that's become unmaintainable. Performance is treated as a feature: we profile what's actually blocking render rather than installing another optimiser app on top of the last one.

04

Email & lifecycle

Klaviyo flows that do real work — abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, back-in-stock. Built against your actual catalogue and segments, with the deliverability side handled so the sends land in the inbox.

05

Custom integrations

The systems that don't talk to each other: ERP, accounting, 3PL and carrier APIs, marketplaces, POS. Built to survive rate limits, retries and outages — and to make failure loud, because an integration that fails silently is worse than no integration.

Ongoing development

A monthly retainer for brands that need steady development capacity without hiring in-house. Same engineer every month, a shared backlog, and predictable throughput instead of a queue behind an agency's larger clients.

Questions

Straight answers

How long does a Shopify migration take?

For a typical catalogue with clean data, four to six weeks from kickoff to launch. The variable is almost never the import — it's the state of the source data and how much of the old site's structure has to be reconstructed. We tell you which of those you're in during the audit, before you commit to a date.

Will I lose my search rankings?

Not if the migration is done properly. Every existing URL gets mapped to its new destination with a 301 redirect, the collection structure is preserved rather than reinvented, and metadata comes across with the products. Ranking dips after migration are almost always caused by URL structures being redesigned at the same time as the platform changes — so we don't do both at once.

Can you take over a store someone else built?

Yes, and it's a large share of what we do. The first step is a written audit of the theme and installed apps so you know what you actually own, what's safe to change, and what's quietly costing you money. You get that document regardless of whether you continue with us.

Do you work with Shopify Plus?

Yes — including checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions for custom discount and shipping logic, and B2B catalogues. We'll also tell you honestly if you don't need Plus yet, which is a conversation a lot of merchants don't get to have.

Do you only take full projects?

No. Plenty of engagements start as a single fix — a broken integration, a slow product page, a flow that isn't sending. That's a perfectly good way to work together before committing to anything larger.

Where are you based, and does it matter?

We're based in Israel and work with brands internationally. All work is delivered remotely with staging previews you can click through, so location has no practical effect on the engagement beyond overlapping working hours.

Start with the audit

Before anyone quotes you for a rebuild, it's worth knowing what you actually have. The audit is a written document about your store, your stack and what's costing you money — and it's yours whether or not you hire us to act on it.
